- Handling– The Sonata’s tires have significantly more traction and significantly less tire squeal than the K5. Buyers can expect the K5 suspension to feel a tad bouncier. In comparison, the Sonata allows drivers to attack corners at greater pace.

- New in 2021– For the Kia K5, the 2021 vehicle was the result of the Optima restyling. Pirelli P Zero all-season tires on 19-inch wheels, on the other hand, are now standard on the SEL Plus variant of the 2021 Venue. When the car is parked side-by-side, the SEL, SEL Plus and Limited have a bright warning safe exit standard that notifies occupants of oncoming traffic.
- Drivetrain Options– AWD (All-Wheel-Drive) has been made available with the 2021 Kia K5 for the first time. When compared to this, the 2021 Hyundai Sonata is available only as a FWD (Front-Wheel-Drive).
