The Plus model is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that cranks out 161 hp and 150 lb-ft of torque. The EPA estimates that this engine can get up 30 mpg when cruising on the highway. Kia pairs this engine with a six-speed automatic transmission. The Exclaim model has a turbo 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine underneath the hood. This engine outputs 201 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to a dual-clutch seven-speed automatic transmission and can get up to 31 mpg as estimated by the EPA.
